Rental Requirements

A valid drivers license and working cellular phone

Payment of rental fee in full to reserve a boat plus MA sales tax of 6.25%

Rental fees don’t include fuel cost used during your trip the price of which depend on Bay Side Marine pump  

Participants

All participants must be present at time of rental to sign a release of liability before using any equipment

All participants must be present at time of rental for the safety/operation orientation at the beginning of the rental

After signing you in and completing paperwork, we show you the location of all U.S. Coast Guard-required safety gear on the boat, the operation of the outboard motor, and any other features on the boat. We show you where and how far you are allowed to go as well as local charts, and we explain basic red/green buoy navigation. We go over the slow speed areas as well as some hidden spots to explore.

Cancellation policy

If renter cancels reservation within 7 calendar days of the reservation, Renter pays $75 cancellation fee.

If cancellation is due to inclement weather, then the deposit will be applied to an alternate date.

If inclement weather causes the rental period to end prematurely, the rental rate shall be prorated based on the time used.

Inclement weather will be defined by the South Shore Boat Rentals

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome on all our boats, however, there is a $20 mandatory fee. The fee may be increased up to $100 if it required more than normal cleaning
